Employee Training

At STSi, we believe in individual growth and overall development of all our consultants through continuous education. We have several training programs which are aligned with the rate at which technology is developing. The table below lists the training programs available to all STSi consultants.

Training Program

Details
Online Virtual University All STSi consultants are provided with access to our Online Virtual University.  The majority of the content available through the Online Virtual University is in the form of computer based training (CBT) courses.  These CBTs are designed to provide self training through instructions, tutorials, assignments and exams.  These courses are available 24x7 which allows consultants at client sites to access the courses after hours or on weekends.
Instructor-led Training On a routine basis, our consultants have the opportunity to attend instructor-led training for emerging technologies.  Instructor-led training is achieved through partnerships with third party training agencies.
Webcast-based Training STSi offers webcast-based training programs whenever instructor-led training programs are not available where the consultant resides.  The webcast-based training programs are very cost effective and are normally available after hours; a key criterion for our consultants who are working at client sites.
Seminars, Conferences & Participation in Local Technology Groups STSi retains membership in various local technology groups and we play a vital role in conducting seminars in the technology groups.  We also send our consultants to various technology-based seminars and conferences to help broaden their understanding of new and existing technologies.
Certifications We understand that in these turbulent economic times, more clients are demanding IT professionals with certifications in technology and other non-technology certifications such as PMP, ITIL etc.  STSi strongly believes that our consultants are more successful when they have attained certifications in their field of expertise and will reimburse all the costs associated with certification testing.
